This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Im finally going to be updating this consistently now, I finally have a dslr! Its a nikon d40, whoever has one please feel free to ask questions, I dont know much but I can help Thats about it!
oh yeah, let me know if there's anything else you have any questions about! if there's one thing about this camera i need, it's another lens...sports photography is impossible with the 14-45mm (but i do love the WIDE angle of the 14mm). there's actually some package that comes with the 14-45mm and another lens that's like 40-150mm or something like that.
the reason i bought the e-500 was because it looked so user friendly! it's my first digital slr camera and turns out, it was just what i needed! all of the manual controls are on the digital menu (viewed on the screen), which i really like since all i've dealt with (and was used to before purchasing this camera) was point-and-shoot digi cams.
but it's definitely no point-n-shoot. the lens is actually electronically focused, which kind of bugged me at first but i'm over it. i mean you have the focus ring and full manual control to focus on whatever you want, it just seemed odd at first to me for it to be done electronically in the lens, like point-n-shoot cameras. and of course, me being a total newbie to slr cameras before this one, i liked the fact that it had the "dust reduction system". it's the only camera (still i think..?) that has the system which i'm sure you know from any research you've done, shakes the lens so it's rid of any dust particles. this seemed like a big plus to me since i didn't want to have to be cleaning it too much, since i had no idea how to do so!
overall this is a great camera, and i actually prefer having all of the manual controls (focus selection, flash, ISO, white balance, shutter speed, exposure, etc.) all on the HUGE lcd screen (which is amazing i might add...way bigger than any others cams I myself have picked up). but in the end, if it's user-friendly you want, it's user-friendly you've got...and more. plus, it's pretty cheap online nowadays!
p.s. sorry for getting back to you a week and a half late...i haven't been doing much digital stuff lately (i'm taking a photography class at my high school and it's all B&W film) so therefore haven't logged on here in a while to upload anything/check messages!
